Brevo Contact Sync Setup

Automatically sync customer contacts to your Brevo list after every waiver — ready for email campaigns, SMS marketing, or automated workflows

Connect Brevo (formerly SendinBlue) and customers who opt in to marketing are automatically added to your contact list after signing their waiver — ready for email campaigns, SMS marketing, or automated workflows. No more manual CSV exports and imports.

What you get

  • Real-time contact sync — Customers who opt in are added to your Brevo list the moment they submit a waiver.
  • Rich contact data — Email, first name, last name, and date of birth sync automatically. Phone numbers are optional.
  • Existing contacts updated — If a contact with the same email already exists in Brevo, their record is updated rather than duplicated.

Connect your account

Get your credentials from Brevo

In your Brevo account, go to Settings > SMTP & API to copy your API key. Then go to Contacts > Lists and note the list ID of the target list.

Connect in Escape Kit

Go to SettingsIntegrationsBrevo. Enter your Brevo API Key and Brevo List ID, then click Connect. Escape Kit validates your credentials and confirms the list name.

Enable phone sync (optional)

Once connected, toggle Sync phone numbers to send customer phone numbers to the SMS attribute in Brevo for SMS campaigns. Numbers are automatically formatted to E.164.

Test the connection

Click Test Connection to verify credentials are still valid. The last verified timestamp shows when the connection was last confirmed.

Common Mistake: If customers aren't appearing in Brevo, the most common cause is the email opt-in checkbox on your waiver. If the checkbox is displayed and the customer didn't check it, no data syncs. Check your waiver field settings to see how opt-in is configured.
