Player Detail View

See a player's full history at a glance — every visit, room played, waiver signed, and tag in one place

Click any row on the Players page to open the player detail view. This is where you see everything about a customer — their contact information, tags, minors they've signed for, and a complete list of every group they've been part of.

Player details

The left panel shows the player's contact information and waiver data:

First Name
The player's first name.
Last Name
The player's last name.
Email
Email address.
Phone
Phone number.
Date of Birth
Date of birth, if collected on the waiver.
Marketing Email Opt-In?
Whether the player opted in to marketing emails.
Custom Fields
Any custom waiver fields with values — only fields that have data are shown.

Fields without data display as "---".

Customer tags

Tags turn your player list into targeted segments — label someone "VIP", "corporate", or "birthday party" once and pull up every matching customer in seconds for follow-up emails and repeat-visit offers. The right panel shows this customer's contact tags, and they stick with them across every visit.

Adding a tag: Click the Add button (or the dashed Add Tag card if no tags exist yet), type the tag name, and click Add Tag or press Enter. The Existing Tags section shows reusable tag names as pills.

Removing a tag: Click any tag badge. A confirmation prompt appears — click Delete Tag to confirm.

The Existing Tags legend shows where each tag name is already used:

  • Contact — The tag is used on customer records.
  • Group — The tag is used on groups.
  • Both — The tag name is used in both places.

Group tags describe a group, while customer tags follow the person — so each stays meaningful. Selecting an existing group tag here reuses that name as a customer tag for this person; it doesn't pull the group's tags onto their record.

Behind the Scenes: Customer tags are synced across all of a customer's visits. When you add or remove a tag, the change applies to every player record linked to that contact. Escape Kit also reuses matching tag names automatically, so "VIP" and "vip" stay one tag instead of cluttering your list.

Minors

If the player signed a waiver on behalf of minors, their names appear in the Minors section on the right panel. This section is hidden when there are no minors.

Group history

The Player's Groups section at the bottom shows every group this player has been part of, newest first:

Column What it shows
Room The room name, or event name for multi-room events. Shows "Deleted Room" if the room no longer exists.
Date The group date.
Time The group time.
Waiver "View" link to the signed waiver (opens in a new tab), or "---" if no waiver exists.
Status Group status badge (e.g. complete, open, canceled).

Players marked as guardian-only (not participating in the game) show a "Guardian Only" label.
