Exporting Player Data

Export filtered player data as CSV for email campaigns and spreadsheets, or copy emails to clipboard for TripAdvisor Review Express

When you need player data outside of Escape Kit — for email marketing, spreadsheet analysis, or TripAdvisor review solicitation — the export tools on the Players page give you two options: a detailed CSV download and a one-click email copy for TripAdvisor Review Express.

Both exports use your current search filters, so you export exactly the segment you've built.

CSV export

Apply filters

On the Players page, search or apply filters to find the players you want to export. The Export dropdown appears in the header once you have active filters and results.

Export

Click the Export dropdown and select Export Players to CSV. A CSV file downloads automatically, named players_YYYY-MM-DD.csv.

Open the file

Open the CSV in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet tool. Each row is one player record — a customer who visited three times appears as three rows, each with their group-specific data.

Pro Tip: Filter by "Opted in to marketing emails" before exporting for email campaigns. This ensures you're only sending to players who gave consent.

What's included in the CSV

The CSV includes comprehensive data for each player record:

Player fields
First Name, Last Name, Email, Email Opt In, Guardian Only, Phone, DOB, Minors, Date Added, Date Completed.
Custom waiver fields
One column per custom field configured on your waivers.
Tags
The player's tag list.
Waiver URL
Link to the signed waiver PDF.
Group data
Group ID, Group Status, Group Name, Game Master, Group Size, Did Escape, Time Remaining (or Elapsed Time), Clues, Points.
Room columns
One date/time column pair per room at your location, plus Event Name and Event Date for multi-room events.

TripAdvisor Review Express export

  1. Apply your desired filters on the Players page.
  2. Click the Export dropdown and select One-Click TripAdvisor RE.
  3. Unique email addresses from the filtered results are copied to your clipboard, and a notification shows the count.

Paste the emails directly into TripAdvisor's Review Express tool to request reviews from recent guests.

The export deduplicates emails — if the same address appears on multiple contacts, it's included only once. This option requires the One-Click TripAdvisor RE premium feature. If the feature isn't active on your location, the menu item is disabled.
