Waivers & Check-In

Minor Support

One signature covers the whole family — guardians add minors right on the waiver form and everyone gets checked in together

When a group includes underage participants, a guardian signs the waiver once and lists all minors they're responsible for. Each minor gets their own player record in the group automatically — no extra waivers or manual data entry needed.

How guardians add minors

At the bottom of the waiver form, the customer sees an Add Minor button.

  1. Click Add Minor. A text input appears for the minor's name, and a participation dropdown appears above the minors list.
  2. Fill in the participation dropdown:
  3. "Yes, I am completing the waiver for myself and minor(s)." — The guardian is participating in the experience.
  4. "No, I am only completing the waiver on behalf of minor(s)." — The guardian is signing but won't play.
  5. Enter the minor's name.
  6. Click Add Minor again to add more minors.
  7. To remove the last added minor, click the X button next to their name. Only the last minor in the list shows a remove button.

The participation dropdown is required when at least one minor has been added. It doesn't appear when no minors are present.

How minors appear in groups

On the group detail page, minors appear in the player table with a "minor" badge. Minor rows have their checkboxes disabled — they can't be individually selected for bulk actions. To manage a minor, select the guardian and use the Edit Player option.

Pro Tip: Non-participating guardians show a shield icon in the player table and are excluded from the player count header. This keeps your headcount accurate — you see the number of people actually playing.
