Group Management
Reopening & Editing Groups
Fix incorrect results, reassign rooms, or update game details after completion — reopen any group to make corrections
Made a mistake after completing a group? You can edit game results and group details on a completed group without reopening it. If you need to upload photos, add players, or re-trigger emails, reopen the group first.
Editing without reopening
Group details and game results can be updated at any time — even after the group is completed. Click Edit in the relevant section to update the game master, team name, escape status, time, clues, or points. Changes are saved immediately without sending any new messages.
Pro Tip: If you just need to fix a typo in the escape time or clue count, edit the results directly. No need to reopen — and no second round of emails.
Reopening a completed group
If you need to upload photos, add or remove players, or re-send emails with updated content, reopen the group first.
Click the status button (showing Complete) and select Reopen Group (or Reopen Event for events).
A warning explains that the group will be removed from the leaderboard and stats until completed again. Click Reopen Group to confirm.
The group returns to Open status. Upload photos, update players, or make any other corrections.
Complete the group again when ready. Players will receive another round of emails and texts.
Common Mistake: Re-completing a group sends messages to players again. If you only need to fix results or details, edit them directly without reopening to avoid sending duplicate emails.
Changing the room, date, or time
Click Edit in the group header to open the Edit Group panel.
Click Save to apply. The room, date, and time combination must be unique — if another group already exists for that slot, the save will fail.
This panel also includes a Delete button to permanently delete the group and all of its data.
