Managing Photos

Upload team photos that appear on debrief pages and social shares — with optional branded overlays

Team photos are what make debrief pages shareable. Upload them to a group and they appear on every player's debrief page with sharing buttons — driving social reach back to your business. If you've configured photo overlays for the room, they're applied automatically.

Uploading photos

Open a group from the Groups list. The Photos section shows a grid of uploaded photos, or an empty state with an Add Photos tile if none exist yet.

1
Select photos

Click Add Photo in the section header (or the Add Photos tile). Choose one or more images from the file picker.

2
Wait for upload

An uploading modal appears while your photos are processed.

3
Confirm

When all photos finish, a success notification confirms the count. The photos appear in the grid immediately.

Pro Tip: Upload photos before completing the group. Emails go out immediately on completion — if photos aren't uploaded yet, players see a debrief page without them.

Viewing and editing photos

Click any photo in the grid to open the Photos panel. Each photo has:

  • Primary checkbox — Set one photo as the primary image. The primary photo appears first on the debrief page and is used as the main image in emails and social shares. Only one photo can be primary at a time.
  • Delete button — Permanently removes the photo. A confirmation popover warns that deleted photos cannot be recovered.

Photo overlays

If the room has an active photo overlay, it's applied automatically after upload. While processing, photos show a spinner badge labeled "Overlay." If processing fails, a red "Failed" badge appears — click Retry in the photo detail panel to re-queue it.

For event groups, a Photo Overlay dropdown appears next to the Add Photo button. Select which room's overlay to apply before uploading — or choose No Overlay to skip.

Common Mistake: If an overlay shows a red "Failed" badge, open the photo detail panel and click Retry to re-queue processing. If the room's overlay has been removed since the photo was uploaded, the retry will fail — you'll need to re-configure the overlay first.
