Waiver Delivery Methods

Get waivers signed before customers arrive using booking integrations, QR codes, direct links, and event-specific URLs

Escape Kit gives you several ways to get waivers in front of customers — pick whichever fits your business best. Each method generates a different URL that controls what the customer sees and selects during signing.

On-site waiver

For customers signing at your location on the day of their visit. Find the on-site link at the bottom of the waivers page (Waivers).

Date is locked to today — the customer can't change it.
Room and time
Customer selects their room and time.

Best for: Tablets at your front desk, QR codes posted in your lobby.

Common Mistake: Sharing the on-site link in emails. The date is locked to today — if a customer opens it days before their visit, they'll sign for the wrong date. Use the off-site link for advance signing.

QR code & flyers

A QR code in your lobby lets customers sign the waiver on their own phone while they wait. Print the flyer, post it at your front desk or waiting area, and customers handle check-in themselves.

The QR code always points to the on-site waiver URL. To download it, go to Waivers, click the QR Code dropdown, and choose:

  • QR Code Flyer — A printable PDF with your location's QR code, ready to display.
  • Download QR Code Image — The QR code as an image file for use in your own designs or signage.

Pro Tip: You never need to reprint flyers when you update your waiver. The QR code URL stays the same — activating a different waiver changes what's served at that URL, not the URL itself.

Off-site waiver

For customers signing before their visit. Find the off-site link at the bottom of the Waivers page.

Room, date, and time
Customer selects their room, date, and time from available options.

Best for: Booking confirmation emails, your website.

Links directly to a specific group so guests don't need to select a room, date, or time.

To get the link, open the group's detail page (Groups(select group)) and click ⚙️Copy Waiver Link.

Best for: Any group where you want to send participants a waiver that links directly to that group — corporate events, birthday parties, private bookings, or any group created in advance.

Integration waiver

When you connect a booking platform (Bookeo, FareHarbor, Resova, or Xola), Escape Kit automatically sends a waiver email after each booking. The waiver link includes the room, date, and time from the booking — the customer doesn't need to select anything.

Pro Tip: Booking integrations are the most hands-off delivery method. Customers receive the waiver automatically after booking and arrive with it already signed — no manual link sharing needed.
