Weekly and Custom Schedules
Set weekly time slots, create date-specific overrides, and configure scheduling behavior that determines which times customers can choose on waivers
Scheduling controls which times customers can select on your waiver for each room. Set your normal weekly availability, override specific dates when needed, and tune conflict settings so customers only see times your team can actually run.
Go to Escape Rooms[Room Name]Schedule.
Weekly schedule
The Weekly Schedule card defines your base availability for this room — the recurring time slots customers can pick for each day of the week. If no custom schedule exists for a given date, the weekly schedule is used.
Add a slot
Click Add at the top of a day column, choose a time, then click Add again to confirm.
Edit or delete a slot
Click an existing time slot in the day column. Change the time and click Update, or click Delete to remove it.
Copy slots between days
Click Copy at the bottom of a day column to open the Copy Time Slots sheet. The FROM day pre-fills to the column you clicked. Choose a TO day and click Copy. This replaces all slots on the target day with a copy of the source day's slots.
Pro Tip: Build one representative day first, then copy it across matching days to set up a full week in minutes instead of adding each slot manually.
Custom schedules
The Custom Schedules card lets you override weekly availability for specific dates — useful for holidays, private events, or adjusted hours.
Click Add Custom Schedule to open the Create Custom Schedule sheet. Pick a date using the Schedule Date picker.
Once you select a date, a Start With {Day} Schedule button appears (e.g., "Start With Wednesday Schedule"). Click it to copy that day's weekly slots as a starting point.
Use the time picker and Add Slot button to add slots, or edit existing ones inline.
Click Create Schedule to save. The custom schedule now overrides the weekly schedule for that date.
To edit or delete an existing custom schedule, use the pencil or trash icons next to it in the list.
Behind the Scenes: When a customer selects this room and a date on the waiver, Escape Kit checks for a custom schedule on that date first. If one exists and has slots, those slots are shown. If the custom schedule has no slots, or no custom schedule exists, the weekly schedule is used.
How schedules affect waivers
- The waiver time picker is driven by the room's schedule for the selected date.
- If a booking integration or direct group waiver link pre-fills the date and time, customers may not need to select from schedule slots manually.
- If no time slots exist for a given date and Auto Adjust is off, no times appear on the waiver for that date. With Auto Adjust enabled, open group and event times can still be shown.
Auto Adjust Schedule
The Auto Adjust Schedule card controls whether open groups and events appear as selectable times on the waiver and whether scheduled slots that conflict with them are hidden.
Common Mistake: Auto Adjust Schedule is a location-wide setting — it applies to all rooms, not just the room you're viewing. Changing it here affects every room at your location.
